Our Legacy
Founded in 1966 by Ervin Strosnider, Strosnider Chevrolet has proudly remained a family-owned and operated dealership for three generations. Through everything from major fires to hurricanes, we've weathered the challenges together—and 60 years later, our state-of-the-art dealership is still standing strong at 5200 Oaklawn Boulevard in Hopewell, VA.
That same tenacity, resilience, and sense of togetherness remain at the heart of everything we do. From the quality of our vehicles and our commitment to helping you secure the financing you deserve, to the expert care your vehicle receives at our service center, we're dedicated to providing an experience built on honesty, reliability, and genuine care.
For six decades, generations of local drivers have trusted Strosnider Chevrolet—and we're proud to continue being the Hopewell Chevrolet dealership our community can count on, 60 years and counting!

Celebrating 60 Years of Service
60 years is a big milestone. And we’re celebrating all year long. From vehicle promotions to service deals, here are just some of the ways we’ve invited the community to celebrate with us!
60 Cars in 60 Days
Each day leading up to Memorial Day, we offered limited-time deals on one spotlight vehicle for one day only. Countless happy customers went home with exciting new rides with considerable savings on anything from a brand new Chevy Silverado, a Lexus IS 300 F Sport, Chevrolet Equinox, and even a 1990 Corvette!
Service & Maintenance Deals
Keeping your ride in top shape can sometimes feel like a hassle. So to celebrate 60 years of service, we thought we'd make things a little easier on you. All year, we've had several promotions on maintenance services – to prove we still look good for 60! Customers saved a whopping $60 on everything from oil changes, brake flushes, cabin air filters, wheel alignments, and more!
In Our Community
We're committed to giving back to the community we’ve proudly been part of for 60 years. You will often find us hosting local food trucks on our lot, participating in the the #WeDriveFor Breast Cancer awareness campaign, partnering with local schools and youth sports through the Chevy Cares Back To School and Youth Sports Programs, supporting Colonial Heights "K"lassic Golf Tournament benefiting VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center or hosting the Street Dreams Cruisers Annual Car Show in July, we’re always looking for new ways to support our community.
